CHEMICAL PLANT SPECIALIST
As
a chemical plant specialist, you will support our company in production and research areas. With your
knowledge of basic chemistry and familiarity with our technical equipment, you will help our company
to manufacture and research products in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. You will monitor
the production process and eliminate minor disruptions, thus ensuring that our products maintain a high
level of quality.
The apprenticeship
You will learn proper handling
of chemicals and lab equipment and can apply your theoretical knowledge during your practical training
at our company. You will learn chemical analysis methods in our training lab and get basic instruction
in control technology. You will receive optimal preparation for your future job during your entire apprenticeship.
Your apprenticeship includes a final examination by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Your Profile
- Good high school grade point average
- An interest in natural science
- Good knowledge of math and natural sciences
- Reliable, conscientious and responsible

Every September.
Length of the Program
It normally takes 3.5 years
to complete the apprenticeship program, although the program can be completed in 3 years if you study
effectively.
Apprenticeship compensation in the State of Hesse (as of March 2007):
- year of the program: € 645 per month
- year of the program: € 708 per month
- year of the program: € 785 per month
- year of the program: € 857 per month
